While many large senior housing companies design buildings that look like contemporary hotels, The Orchard is independently-owned and operated and we listen to what makes seniors feel at home. Residents appreciate being able to bring their antiques and traditional pieces to their apartments and enjoy seeing similar furnishings in common areas. The apartments are well-appointed with their 9-foot ceilings, luxurious carpet and oversized walk-in closets, apartments here turn into a nest of contentment. Many apartments have a patio or balcony space for fresh-air or gardening. Lush courtyards, accented by fountains eminate soothing sounds and make a lovely retreat. Your ideal blend of privacy and companionship is possible here, from meal time and socials, to down time and the peaceful settings that dot the campus.
THE ARBOR
Those in need of a higher level of personal care find welcome support, compassionate service and skilled nursing care in the private and semi-private rooms of The Arbor – our nursing home wing with its cheery sunroom and patio.
THE ROSE GARDEN
The Rose Garden is our beautiful, spacious, residential memory care center. It is a licensed Alzheimer’s community and offers a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment for seniors experiencing memory loss, Alzheimer’s disease, and dementia. The Rose Garden offers large private and semi-private rooms with multiple gathering spaces and a central courtyard, while our experienced and attentive staff provide compassionate, person-centered care to all of our residents. Respite care is also available to seniors who need a temporary stay.

The Orchard has various ways to enjoy a meal. Breakfast is served for early birds as well as folks who like to sleep in. Lunch has two seatings plus the opportunity to grab-and-go from our Bistro. Dinner is where we shine! We offer 3 gourmet entrees prepared with fresh, whole food ingredients, as well as the option for soup, salad, sandwich or a boxed meal to-go. The Orchard has popular steak nights with live entertainment as well as many special holiday festivities. A wide array of desserts, ice cream and more offer a sweet treat to finish. Fresh fruits, salads, fat-free ice cream, no-sugar-added desserts and low-sodium items are available upon request.
Our assisted living wing has a separate dining room with personal service, if needed.
Culinary
Chef Michael Moore oversees the culinary services at The Orchard, where fine dining is a key attraction. Residents enjoy three meals a day in restaurant-style comfort in the expansive dining room. An adjacent private dining room, available by reservation, is the perfect spot for holiday celebrations or birthday parties for residents and guests.
As a possible added convenience Chef Moore offers an independent catering service, Your Personal Chef. If you host a function in the dining room, you can choose from the day’s menu, bring in your own prepared food or, for an additional cost, order specially catered food from Your Personal Chef.
